Board of Appeals

Thorndike's Board of Appeals considers administrative appeals (differences of opinion with code enforcement officer or planning board decision) and variance requests (for a narrow set of specific conditions allowed in State law) with regard to our land use ordinances. It does not address property tax appeals. 

At this time, the Board meets as needed to hear cases or conduct administrative business.
